"To Those Passed On"

A page,
for an age.
Nature's show,
the world aglow.
Bi-plane, glider, and jet fly by,
gracefully piercing that high blue sky.
Oh... my
humans can fly!
Eagles soar
forever more.
Mother, fledglings
stretch your wings.
There, behind us,
friends remind us,
Emerge from your shell,
reach your children well.
REVOLUTION,
EVOLUTION.
Please don't wait
It's not too late
Sisters and brothers
there are many others.
So, I say to you,
try something new.
It's our turn to care
creatures of the air,
and earth, and sea.
Humans, that means you and me.
And to those past on,
We will carry it on,
We will carry it on!
And someday may see
what we will be.
